while at my parents' we went to the nature center.
it is such a nice little place with turtles, fish and rescued birds.
they have a big macaw parrot...
i was standing by it just looking at him.
he looked me in the eye and said "hello" in a quiet voice.
it totally freaked me out.
i am so dorky.
we took a walk around the pond enjoying the sun.
i dont' know how smart this was...
but they somehow stayed dry and clean.
lauren caught a teenie little frog.
but the big excitement was when she caught the snake.
she's has always been awesome at catching slimy things.
snakes, lizards, frogs - anything.
i don't know how she does it.
she has a gift.
oh that's nice.
