i got to spend time with him when he was one week old...and yesterday too.
levi is the brother to sweet baby Cora McClenahan who is with jesus now.
he was the most calm newborn i have ever seen.
and i swear he smiles.
i kept saying "look...he's smiling again!"
his grandma made him this special quilt from all the scraps from the cora dresses.
the print of his name was a baby gift for jess and joel for levi's room.
it's from my sweet prints.
those baby rolls...cruel punishment to a mommy like me with no babies at home.
oh mr. levi.
i wanted to keep you for my own. :)

oh my... mouth is... wide open!
PRECIOUS!
God bless their little one.
and meg... you captured him beautifully.
i am NUTS over that quilt! nuts!!!!

Thanks Megan!

My favorite photo is Levi swaddled, there is something about him securely wrapped and the depth to his eyes....he sees something, what?
Kind of like the Mona Lisa smile captured in that photo.
How wonderful to spend time with such a gorgeous baby!

So weird.... until very recently, my Grandma lived in Newton KS! I know your town! My great grandma, my best friend as a kid, lived at 1609 Hillcrest in the big old house. It's not in the family any more, but it will always be Gram's house to me.
Anyways, very sweet little baby... and wonderful quilt. Thanks for sharing it!

what a beautiful, beautiful little boy. but to send me to the story of his sister ... ?? oh gosh. i sobbed. for half an hour last night i cried big, fat, ugly cries for them. that beautiful little girl, that chubby leg sticking out of the sink, and knowing that right at that moment her little body was being eaten by the monster. you caused me to go into an instantaneous grief for them, following right into fervent prayer. so, thanks a lot. and, thank you. and, god bless that sweet family.
