friday stuff.

today is my last day of scheduled photo shoots for the year. (other than the newborn sessions...they go all year)





it feels good.
a great PACKED photo season that i am proud of.
very proud....i felt confirmed in this gift from God gave me so many times this year.
He wants me to use my gifts for HIM.

it's an honor.

and... it has rainbow colors... it's a no brainer.

treat tuesdays

i had the rare opportunity to have talby to myself.
i don't even remember where the other kids were?
but it was just the two of us.
we went to the grocery store and got the ingredients for OREO pops.
(and an entire cart full of groceries too)

pretty simple really.
lollipop sticks in oreos....dipped in almond bark...dipped in sprinkles.
we let them harden on waxed paper.


 
                we had a system going of me dipping them in the almond bark and she did the sprinkles.







YUM.
they didn't last long.
not even an evening.....everyone loved them.

loving treat tuesdays. 

we also made Pizza pretzels last week.





the boys liked these more than the girls.

and we made Dana's pumpkin chocolate chip cookies too.
but no pictures.
because they were gone so fast....a double batch!

help

what i want to know is......

what my kids want everyday is Mac N Cheese, white rice, Ramen Noodles & chicken Nuggets...and cereal.
so i quit buying Mac N cheese and Ramen noodles....but i need rice and chicken nuggets are just so easy.
and we quit buying sugar cereal to help cut back on that cost and SUGAR.

but i don't know what to make them....or have them make themselves.
i need ideas.
i have hit a wall as far as WHAT to make.

if you will.....PLEASE share with me
your top five Healthy-ish snacks/meals your kids love.

i am getting desperate.
and they never stop eating it seems....two growing boys....three picky girls....

and also....only THREE of us will eat vegetables...and two of those are the adults.
so those ideas won't help too much.
we like fruit.
they all like fruit.

maybe i will make this a new section....healthy snack ideas from YOU.
and we will try them out and give our reviews???
