I am visiting my parents. Keeping active in the So. Florida heat by swimming and getting up early for walks. Oh, and walking the malls- that counts right? LOL

Working a full time job, chasing my three-year-old and grocery shopping...whew, I'm tired!

Tracy

I sweat when I eat, so degree comes in handy

I convinced my boyfriend who hates to exercise to go to the gym. Turns out he didn't have a TERRIBLE time and I had company. It was a win-win!

With a busy work schedule, and a cranky toddler I haven't been able to get out to go running this week, so after I put down the above mentioned cranky toddler, I've been running the stairs in our house. After a few trips up and down you really start to feel the burn!

I lead an active lifestyle by following my two kids around. People do get the fact that being a single parent is hard work and really is exercise.

Ideally I walk or spend time with Jillian (we have a love-hate relationship)....if those don't happen its because I'm exhausted from keeping up with three fun little boys!!

The ONLY way I can remember to exercise every day is to daaannce. I put on the radio (the real one or the one that constantly plays songs in my head) and I shimmy, hop,a few pirouettes, throw in a few spirit fingers, air guitar, you name it. This will be my exercise to my dying day. lonyae dot a dot thomas at vanderbilt dot edu

I run 2 miles with my dog every morning. He is the best workout buddy (literally-his name is Buddy) because he never let's me skip a day. I mean never--rain, we go, snow, we go!

I made a commitment this month to do something active every single day, be it treadmill, walking with mancub around the neighborhood, doing an exercise DVD (minimum 30 minutes)....any form of 'excercise'. I am determined to be able to say at the end of the month that I stuck with it and was successful!

Brenda
