Trying to keep up with my boys--running, biking, soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, frisbee--is it's own workout, but I try to sneak in long, brisk walks with my husband whenever I can.


Working a full time job, chasing my three-year-old and grocery shopping...whew, I'm tired!

I convinced my boyfriend who hates to exercise to go to the gym. Turns out he didn't have a TERRIBLE time and I had company. It was a win-win!

With a busy work schedule, and a cranky toddler I haven't been able to get out to go running this week, so after I put down the above mentioned cranky toddler, I've been running the stairs in our house. After a few trips up and down you really start to feel the burn!

I walked almost 60 miles this past weekend as I participated in the Susan G. Komen 3 Day for a Cure in Boston, MA. The motto is "60 miles, 3 Days, 1 Goal--to end breast cancer". The temperature was crazy not this weekend--heat index went up to 105 before they made us stop walking on Friday! I actually wore Degree MotionSense and I have to say I love it!

i went for a nice run early this morning before it got too hot and in the afternoons i like to run in the sprinkler with my girls!


Now that the weather has given us a break here - I am taking more walks in our hilly neighborhood while pushing my son in the stroller!


I'm on vacation this week, so I've been trying to walk at night (when it cools down). Normally, I do lots of cardio and strength training, but this is working for me this week!

I put on the radio (the real one or the one that constantly plays songs in my head) and I shimmy, hop,a few pirouettes, throw in a few spirit fingers, air guitar, you name it. I run 2 miles with my dog every morning. He is the best workout buddy (literally-his name is Buddy) because he never let's me skip a day. I mean never--rain, we go, snow, we go!

I keep active cleaning up after three kids and a husband. I also do at least 5 miles a week of my walking videos from Leslie Sansone. I love her. I do not have to exercise on the floor. I hate exercising on the floor.


I joined the gym last week! and have been playing in my in-law's pool with my kids... It's been AWESOME!

I made a commitment this month to do something active every single day, be it treadmill, walking with mancub around the neighborhood, doing an exercise DVD (minimum 30 minutes)....any form of 'excercise'. I am determined to be able to say at the end of the month that I stuck with it and was successful!


Need to start walking again but the heat in Kansas is unbearable!


yay! sweating means i'm actually doing something, which means i need a good deoderant!
